At The Acre, we’re all about tail wags, belly rubs, and safe play! To keep our furry guests happy and healthy, we have a few policies in place. We promise they’re simple and designed with your pup’s best interests in mind!

General Requirements

🐶 All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella). We’ll need a copy of their records before their first visit.

🐶 All dogs must be in good health and free from contagious illnesses. If your pup isn’t feeling their best, we ask that they rest at home until they’re back to their playful self.

🐶 Pups must be at least 3 months old and fully vaccinated to join the fun.

🐶 Spay & Neuter Policy: For the safety of all our guests, dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.

🐶 Friendly and Social: We welcome well-mannered pups who enjoy the company of other dogs and humans. If your dog is a little shy, we’re happy to help them adjust and make accommodations! However, aggressive behavior isn’t a good fit for our pack.

Daycare & Boarding Policies

🦴 Reservations are required to ensure we have plenty of space for every pup.

🦴 Drop-off & Pick-up: We’re open from 7:30am – 9:00am and 4:00pm and 6:00pm on the weekdays and 8:00am – 9:00am and 4:00pm and 5:00pm for pickups and drop offs. Please make sure to pick up your pup by closing time to avoid any late fees.

🦴 Food & Medications: Please bring all meals pre portioned in their own baggie or container. For any medication or special feeding instruction be sure to enter it within the app before check in.

🦴 Rest Time: Playtime is exciting, but we all need a break! We schedule downtime so our guests can recharge and be ready for more fun.

Cancellations & No-Shows

🐾 Life happens! If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the spot to another pup. No-shows and early checkouts are subject to the full charge of their reservation.

🐾 For all reservations, a deposit is required which will be applied to your balance at checkout. Cancellations made before 24 hours of check in can only be refunded to a customer credit.

Safety & Behavior

🐕 Our staff is trained to ensure a safe and fun environment. If a pup displays excessive aggression or stress, we may need to give you a call to discuss alternative arrangements.

🐕 We love a little dirt, but for safety reasons, we don’t allow overly rough play. Our team is always supervising to keep things fun and friendly.

🐕 If your pup damages property or injures another dog, we may ask for reimbursement for any necessary repairs or vet care.

Payments & Fees

💳 Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

💳 Late pick-ups may incur a small fee. If you’re running behind, just give us a heads-up!

💳 Any additional services (baths, nail trims, special treats) will be added to your total at check-out.
